TESTIMONIALS
Hear from our members … their voice, their words, their success stories!
My daughter, Denaizsa and I were looking for a new provider agency to better fit us. After seeing Bailey’s social media pages showing how involved staff and consumers are, visiting the office and seeing first hand, and the friendly welcoming, we were so impressed that we knew this was the right fit for us!
I love going to Cups of Joy with a gift card for Hot Chocolate Freezes. I like going to YMCA to exercise my knees and arms. Bowling at CAPPS is awesome! I love EVERYTHING about Music Class!Bronson Manning, Member
The reward as a caregiver and grandma is observing the progress he has made. He has matured physically and mentally, and he amazes me as ‘grandma’ and caregiver.Joyce Matthews, Grandmother & Staff
Bronson has taught me so much about life. It is amazing to hear him recall numbers, names, and dates. Bronson has taught me patience as he takes his time completing the task at hand. He provides lots of details when telling something.
Our family is blessed to have BRC! Everyone is so caring and respectful of all their clients. Through BRC, Bronson has lots of opportunities such as music and art classes, exercising at the YMCA, monthly birthday parties, and pizza parties. He looks forward to going out in the community with Grandma!
Christy Manning, Mother
I am a strong advocate for my son, Titus Jackson, who has autism. As active supporters, along with other families with loved ones with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, we strive to create the best lives for them. We understand the challenges and the rewards of the journey, as we live it every day.
My advocacy began with securing the best educational support for Titus, focusing on his Individualized Education Plan (IEP). He made history as the first I/DD student athlete to participate on his high school’s wrestling team. After years of striving to be his best, Titus achieved a major goal, earning his high school diploma.
After Titus finished high school, I focused on helping Titus become independent and fully integrated into the community. At the age of 23, Titus began receiving services through Bailey’s Respite Care, Inc. (agency provider) and Trillium Health Resources (MCO) with the Innovations Waiver. He now works for a local grocery store, walks to the barbershop, makes financial transactions, participates in conferences side-by-side with me, works out at the local gym, and enjoys networking with others. All small but significant steps toward autonomy and community engagement.
Titus has been a member of Bailey’s Respite Care, Inc. from the beginning. We are thoroughly appreciative of everything they do to support my son and others with I/DD.
